Dark green, holly like foliage grows 2 to 3 feet tall arching out to a spread of 8 to 12 feet. Dark violet 1 inch clusters of flowers appear in spring. Full sun or light shade, quite drought and deer resistant, this Wild Lilac can tolerate heavy soils and some summer water. This is a very handsome selection.
