Maritime Ceanothus
This evergreen, mounding shrub with tight arching branches grows 2 to 3 feet high, 3 to 4 feet wide with clusters of tiny dark violet flowers in spring. Low to no water in sun or light shade. Introduced by the U.C. Davis Arboretum for it's superior reliability, drought tolerance, and easy care. Attracts beneficial insects and pollinators.
