Pacific reed grass
This evergreen bunch grass grows to 3 to 4 feet round. Seed heads are 3 feet above the foliage. A stately, flowing grass for sun near the coast, part to heavy shade everywhere, quite deer resistant. Drought tolerant along the coast. Bay Area native.
