Large perennial growing to 2 to 3 feet tall, 2 foot spread with long slender leaves and 5 inch flower heads with rich yellow rays and orange brown centers in summer, unusual. Good for cutting and used medicinally. Attracts butterflies and gold finches. Grow in sun, native to Missouri. Hardy to -20°F.
