California mock orange
Arching, deciduous shrub 6 to 8 feet tall, 4 to 6 feet wide. Very fragrant, 2 inch, satiny white flowers in late spring, early summer. Sun or light shade with moderate water, good near a pond or stream, as a transition plant. Showy. Native to the North Coast and Sierra Nevada Ranges.
