Leafy Reed Grass
This low growing, dense bunch grass is found in rocky places near the coast of California. Tan panicles tinged with purple form within the foliage. It's 6 to 8 inch stature makes it a nice choice for a dry stream bed. Full sun, prefers rocky soils and low water.
