Native to moist woodlands along the Pacific coast, 1 &1/2 foot stalks bear pendulous deep rose flowers late spring, early summer, spreads by under ground rhizomes. Fern like foliage creates a delicate feel although it’s a tough plant. Quite deer resistant. Winter dormant. Bay Area native.
