Juncus tenuispath rushThis bright green Juncus grows 1 to 2 feet tall, 1/2 foot wide with arching flower heads in summer. Found in meadows and grassy slopes that are wet in the spring, dry in summer. Tolerates a fair amount of abuse. Native to the northwest and central west coast of California. Bay Area native. |
