Knipofia varietiesred torch lilyNative of South Africa, it forms a dense clump of grass like foliage 2 feet tall, 1&1/2 foot spread with a range of red, orange or yellow flowers on 3 foot stems, attractive to hummingbirds. Full sun or light shade, quite deer resistant, tolerates drought and salt winds. Can be cut to the ground in late fall. |
